More Kids On Sailboats
is a non-profit,
501(c)(3) organization
Focused on developing leadership skills through teamwork on co-ed, multigenerational crews. We Focus on Four Core Programs to develop critical thinking, problem solving, grit & communication.
Within each of these programs we strive to instill a love of sailing and ultimately retention in the sport for years to come.
The programs include:
- Prep – boat restoration/repair, safety measures, boat provisions, equipment
- Promote – connect equipment/boats, experienced crew, and novice crew to develop multigenerational and coed crew
- Perform – racing multiple types of boats from 2 person dinghies to keel boats, participation in race committee and race course management
- Provide – philanthropic connections, fundraising and awarenes
